2021年2月，浙江大学物理学系超导量子计算研究团队联合中国工程物理研究院李颖教授，提出并实验验证了一种基于Clifford采样的量子线路错误标定法，该方法不会受到误差时空关联的干扰，并且资源消耗仅随量子线路规模呈线性增长，具有很高的可扩展性。相关成果发表于2021年的Physical Review Letters（物理评论快报）上。
Clifford 代数在广义相对论、量子力学、量子场论、射影几何、微分几何、共形几何等诸多方面有着广泛的应用。由于 Clifford 自身的特点，使其和射影几何的联系不多，之前还没有建立起完善的理论用以使用 Clifford 代数处理射影几何问题。
